As Assistant Director - Governance, you'll provide oversight and assurance across governance, risk, compliance, and audit functions, working closely with senior leaders, boards, and auditors.A key focus of the role is developing and embedding a robust governance framework that will leave a lasting legacy, ensuring statutory compliance and driving a culture of accountability and transparency throughout the organisation. This role also includes managing and mentoring a small team, strengthening capability, and ensuring governance supports effective decision-making across all levels of the organisation.We're looking for someone with proven experience in governance, audit, or risk at a senior level, ideally within the public sector.
