Overview

Interim Global Accounting Director (ER69584). Our manufacturing client with revenues of circa £500m require an Interim Director of Global Accounting for 12 months. This role is a maternity cover, operating on a fixed term contract, based on the Greater Anglia line in Essex – you would be required in the office 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of the global accounts, meeting technical standards
• Work closely with the Group functions to ensure cash flow, working capital and reporting are all managed and delivered effectively
• Lead a team across R2R/O2C, ensuring best-practice processes and controls are adhered to
• Lead on all working capital management reporting, along with remediating controls as needed
• Support the Group functions in wider discussions across budget preparation and strategy as needed

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
• Demonstrable technical and transactional accounting experience
• Proven experience managing a sizeable team; namely across R2R and O2C
• Strong stakeholder management skills – you will be responsible for liaising with the senior leadership team regularly
• Working knowledge of working capital management in a large-scale, matrix organisation
