Base pay range: This role with a Dundee-based organization on an initial 6‑month contract. On-site three days per week, offering a salary circa £60,000 to £65,000 per annum.

You will be leading a team and setting strategic direction for the Research function while providing direct support and guidance for grant applications. You will also maintain strong communication with stakeholders and the wider accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre and post award finance grant related matters
• Supporting grant applications, partnering with operational leadership
• Working closely with the funding body to ensure regulatory compliance
• Full understanding of key accounting principles and financial concepts
• Leading all strategic decision‑making for the team, while managing the completeness and accuracy of research data
• Provision of research data for internal and external reporting
• Communicating policies and procedures designed to support good practice
• Internal and external audit
• Extensive managerial experience at a senior level, leading a sizeable team
• Building and maintaining strong communication links with key stakeholders
• Experience with grant applications and grant administration is highly desirable. Responsible for final sign‑off on grant applications
