**Interim Head of Finance - 9 Month Fixed Term Contract**

Reed Finance is proud to be working in partnership with a local organisation to recruit a technical and experienced Head of Finance to join the business on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract.

During this interim period, you will be reporting to the CFO and will play a crucial role in ensuring the Financial Controls are well maintained, relevant reporting is completed within an accurate and timely manner, as well as the effective management of the Finance Team.

Duties Include:

• Maintain a robust control environment through balance sheet reconciliations
• Direct Line management of Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
• Preparation of year end statutory accounts
• Lead the annual audit processes and prepare statutory accounts
• Complete statutory returns accurately and on time
• Report on cashflow, including forecasting and identifying funding needs
• Dealing with ad hoc queries

Requirements:

• Must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience with substantial finance experience
• Strong Financial accounting background
• Finance Leadership Experience
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Tools including Excel
• Experience in the Not for Profit or Charity Sectors would be highly advantageous
• Available at short notice

Salary and benefits:

The role of Interim Head of Finance is c. £63,000pa plus benefits, a very lucrative pension contribution and hybrid working (3 days required in the office per week).
