Job Description

  • Manage and execute end-to-end payroll processes with accuracy and timeliness for 1300 employees
  • Involvement in a system implementation and transformation project
  • Process improvement
  • Management of 1 payroll administrator
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate data flow for payroll purposes.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as required.
  • Provide support during audits and implement process improvements where necessary.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes affecting payroll operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Payroll Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in managing payroll processes within the FMCG or similar sector.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
