Interim Senior Financial Modeller & Power BI Specialist - Media

Daily rate: £500‑600 (ACA consultancy background required)

We are partnering with a global media company seeking two interim experts for a 6‑month term. The role involves building robust financial models and delivering dynamic Power BI dashboards, partnering across functions to forecast business cases and long‑term strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the long‑term planning model, integrating strategic initiatives such as market and product launches.
• Design, implement, and manage full life‑cycle reporting and dashboards utilising Power BI, ensuring prompt delivery and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to communicate outputs clearly, supporting informed business decisions.
• Work with the commercial finance director to ensure application architecture and design align with business requirements.

Qualifications & skills

• ACA qualified or equivalent from practice or consultancy with a solid understanding of finance concepts.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and the ability to create and manipulate models applying best‑practice principles.
• Commercial acumen with confidence to challenge and understand business rationales, ensuring model outputs support coherent business cases.
• Experience in transaction services or similar is an advantage.
