Interim Senior FP&A / Commercial Finance Manager

Rutherford Cross is exclusively partnered with its key client to appoint a hands-on Senior FP&A / Commercial Finance Analyst or Manager to join its team on an interim basis. This hybrid role will be based in Glasgow for a period of 6-months.

The role is ideal for a commercially astute finance professional with strong industry experience, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver high-quality decision support through insightful financial analysis. The business is looking to engage with fully qualified accountants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate, timely and impactful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Interpret complex financial and operational datasets to identify trends, key drivers and actionable insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business performance and influence outcomes
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and dashboards to support planning and reporting cycles
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to senior stakeholders
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance or a similar analytical finance role within industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large volumes of data and distil key insights
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and data visualisation tools
  • Experience with Power BI and Jet Reports is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
