Interim Treasury Manager | North Yorkshire (Hybrid – 2 days in office)

An established and growing UK business is seeking a Treasury Manager to join their Finance team for a period of 9-12 months to provide cover for a maternity leave.

Working for a fantastic Head of, you will be providing crucial help during this exciting period, helping deliver key project drive operational performance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Cash & liquidity management: Oversee daily cash positioning, short‑term deposits, and intercompany funding to ensure optimal liquidity and efficient cash utilisation.
• Forecasting & reporting: Lead the preparation and consolidation of detailed cash flow forecasts, providing insightful analysis to support key business decisions.
• Funding & banking relationships: Support the Head of with external funding requirements, covenant compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with the banking partners.
• Risk management: Assist in managing the interest rate and foreign exchange exposure, contributing to hedging strategy and execution.
• Financial controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external accounting standards, driving best practice across the treasury function.

Experience:

• You will have previous experience of managing a treasury function of a complex business
• Strong banking compliance exposure
• In‑depth knowledge of banking operations and business strategies.
• Relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
