Overview

We are seeking a motivated In-House Architect/Designer to join a small, entrepreneurial-led business with a growing property portfolio across high-end residential and commercial properties. The role involves design, planning, and execution of a variety of architectural and interior design projects, focusing on delivering innovative and functional spaces. The candidate should be able to produce and understand technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design Development: Lead the conceptual design and development of interior spaces, for commercial and residential projects, with emphasis on aesthetic quality and functionality.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate all phases of a project, from initial consultation through to final installation, ensuring seamless integration between architectural and interior design elements.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with interior designers to develop cohesive interior solutions, and collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure design specifications and standards are met.
• Project Management: Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and documentation, ensuring all deliverables are achieved within the agreed-upon scope and timeframes.
• Presentation and Visualizations: Create and present design proposals using 3D models, renderings, and detailed architectural drawings to communicate design intent effectively to contractors.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor in Architecture or related field.
• Skills and Expertise: Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD and 3D rendering tools; Understanding of building systems, construction practices, and materials; Ability to work effectively within a small, hands-on team environment.
