Job title: Intermediary Sales Consultant

Location: Field Sales

Opportunity: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: Dependent on Experience

The Intermediary Sales Consultant will work within the Intermediary Sales Team to work with the allocated panel of intermediaries, deliver and exceed new business sales and income targets whilst managing and growing existing portfolio of those organisations under management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure correct management of your own portfolio of intermediaries to drive and exceed targets: Retention of existing portfolio (schemes & revenue).
  • Support intermediaries with new and existing client meetings, product training, and presentations, across the entire solution portfolio.
  • Sales of new business for Health Cash Plan, Private Health Insurance solutions and Wellbeing Services.
  • Actively prospect (data supplied, referrals, own leads, and business enquiries) the intermediary marketplace for additional intermediaries we can align with the Westfield Health solutions.
  • Ensure that agreed reporting and updating of systems, including but not restricted to SCMS, Pardot and CRM system, are completed in an accurate and timely manner to ensure that key business intelligence reports can be produced.
  • Understand intermediary market dynamics and work with Intermediary Sales Manager and other internal colleagues to drive successful intermediary channel strategy.
  • Attend team meetings with positive contribution, using your knowledge to share best practices and ideas.
  • Follow all company procedures and guidelines. Ensure all documented policies and procedures within area of responsibility are maintained in accordance with company requirements.
  • Be aware of own role and responsibilities as defined in the Company’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP). In the event of the plan being activated, respond flexibly to ensure the continuation of the Company’s business operations as outlined in the BCP.
  • Comply with all relevant legislative requirements, including financial services regulations. Employment law, Data Protection and Health and Safety.

About you

  • Experienced working towards and exceeding new business sales targets
  • Ability to collaborate with senior commercial stakeholders such as business owners and company Directors.
  • Experienced in building strong trusted relationships with diverse clients and colleagues
  • Articulate with strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Proven ability to work independently to generate own sales opportunities, and deliver end to end follow up on all opportunities presented
  • Proven accountability for personal performance and own development
  • A team player who thrives being part of a team and works well within a team environment
  • Energetic, highly self-motivated with an enquiring approach, passion for excellence, continued improvement and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success
  • IT skills - working with office packages, remote platforms (MS Teams/Zoom, Webinars etc.) and business social media.
