Investment Analytics and Oversight – Analyst to join our Investment Analytics and Oversight team on a permanent basis in our London office (hybrid based).

Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for providing accurate and reliable exposures, risk and performance reporting and analysis for all Railpen stakeholders to facilitate better investment decision making. This will include helping to prepare and distribute BAU investment analytics & oversight reports and suggest new topics and content for reporting. In addition to this, you will investigate and resolve investment data discrepancies with both internal and external stakeholders to continually evolve the automatic data checks process in order to increase efficiency and reliability of reporting.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be someone who has some experience in analysing and reporting on large data sets. You will have a keen interest in using data and analytics to support in monitoring performance, identifying risk, making efficiencies and ensuring best practice across the team. Experience working within the Investment or Asset Management industry and a working knowledge of SQL, Python, and Power BI is preferred, but not essential.
The ideal candidate will be collaborative and enthusiastic in their approach, can take ownership of tasks and execute them independently and can bring a diversity of ideas and opinions to help create advancements in reporting. You will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy by producing quality reports in an accurate and timely manner. Key to this role is being proactive and having the desire to learn and develop in a supportive and diverse environment.
