About the Company

Our client is a start-up Multi-Family Office founded in 2022, with a primary focus on the Far Eastern region. The firm offers bespoke, holistic, and independent family financial advice, specializing in wealth structuring, investment management, and corporate finance. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled Investment Operations & Trading Associate to support their expanding operations.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will find no two days the same, as the role involves managing client cases at different stages of their wealth planning, handling various types of projects, and collaborating with external partners from diverse sectors, each with their unique selling propositions (USPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute trades across Developed Market equities and bonds, with some exposure to Emerging Markets instruments.
  • Utilise various trade order types to achieve best execution.
  • Liaise with brokers and custodians to place trades and ensure timely transaction reporting.
  • Collaborate with investment personnel across portfolio management functions, including fund research, execution, performance tracking, and reporting.
  • Support client advisors with tasks such as client fact-finds, account openings, performance reporting, meeting minutes, and general case management.
  • Interface with third parties such as fund administrators and legal counsel to support internal operations.
  • Provide ad hoc compliance and regulatory support under guidance from the MLRO and external compliance consultants.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a live trading environment, ideally with exposure to both equities and fixed income.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong awareness of financial market movements.
  • Proactive and communicative with the ability to digest information quickly, take instruction, and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a naturally inquisitive mindset.
  • Key personal qualities include trustworthiness, reliability, tenacity, resilience, and thoroughness.
  • Tertiary educated.
