Your impact

As a ITS Principal Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across our Aviation, Rail and Technology group. You’ll lead the design and delivery of traffic signal projects, ensuring technical excellence and safety in design. Your leadership will extend beyond project work, as you mentor and support the development of our wider team.

In this role, you will

  • Lead and undertake traffic signal design projects from concept to delivery
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive growth and innovation
  • Champion technical quality and safety throughout project lifecycles
  • Manage resources, forecast inputs, and ensure delivery to programme and budget
  • Uphold compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, aligning with Jacobs’ safety-first culture
