Senior Consultant - International at Reverse

Our client, a leading international fintech company, is seeking a talented Java Developer to play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of their high-performance electronic FX trading platforms.

In this position, you will be at the heart of the action, engineering the core systems that drive global trading strategies and manage financial risk in real-time. This is a unique opportunity to blend deep computer science principles with complex quantitative finance in a dynamic, startup-like environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior engineers to architect and implement core Java-based financial services, including sophisticated pricing engines, risk management modules, and ultra-low latency market connectivity.
• Develop and continuously optimize the core trading engine, responsible for assessing trade feasibility and executing orders with microsecond precision.
• Engineer a robust, secure infrastructure, including critical safety features like kill switches for immediate manual intervention.
• Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts, traders, and risk management teams to translate complex business requirements into high-quality, production-ready code.
• Demonstrated expertise in Java development, preferably in a high-performance or multi-threaded environment.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience working directly with eFX platforms.
• Solid proficiency with SQL and database management.
• A strong academic foundation with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related Engineering field.
• A genuine interest and experience in the financial sector, with a specific focus on quantitative analysis and trading dynamics.
