Junior Architectural Technologist Job in South London
now available! Seeking a Junior Architectural Technologist with a passion for high-end residential projects to join my client’s team and work on residential refurbishment projects valued at £1m – £6m. This position offers hybrid working, plus a list of other benefits that can be revealed upon application!
Our client’s portfolio consists of high-end homes in prime areas of London, such as Kensington, Chelsea, and Westminster. Due to a high demand in new work, they now require Junior Architectural Technologists to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the team on high-end residential projects, predominantly within RBKC areas of London (Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea)
- Work on bespoke projects typically valued at £1 million – £6 million
- Use AutoCAD on a daily basis
- Drafting responsibilities predominantly focusing on RIBA stages 3-4, although you have exposure throughout all project stages, including on site
- Show your commitment and develop yourself professionally within the practice.
Required Skills & Experience
- Educated as an Architectural Technologist
- Strong technical drawing skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent user of AutoCAD, with good knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp and any visualisation software knowledge would be a bonus
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ComfyUI or MidJourney is desirable but not essential
- A love for one-off high-end residential projects and interior architecture
- A basic understanding of UK building regulations and technical standards
- Experience working on high-end residential projects would be a bonus, but not essential
- Able to take instruction well and use your own initiative when required
- Comfortable assisting the team on projects and working on detailed drawings
- Fantastic written and verbal English
- The right to work in the UK.
