This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

What you\'ll do

An opportunity to join an established, multi-disciplined team supplying game design, development and integration for the highest-profile online casinos, brand owners and games software providers in the world.

  • Help create math models, reel strips and pay tables
  • Understand and communicate to colleagues your work and learn what it takes to have an effective game profile
  • Learn how to perform statistical analysis of casino games including hit frequency, win frequency and volatility
  • Learn and understand program game simulations to verify math designs
  • Work with the product team to help design and concept new slots games, statistics and mechanics
  • Work with engine/front end developers and product managers to gain experience of tight development cycles
  • Report to the Head of Product and work with the Senior Game Mathematicians
  • Work with the team to help with research and development into new markets and regions

What you\'ll bring

  • Proficient level of ability in probability and statistical mathematics.
  • Help the mathematics team conduct investigations into live situations.
  • Conducts competitive analysis and studies performance of live games in the market.
  • Genuine interest in interactive entertainment such as gaming, games, gambling, betting.
  • The ability to learn complex requirements and convert them into solid game math models, simulations and PARS, quickly and accurately.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to express game math design in written and verbal form.
  • An appetite to gain knowledge of C/C++ programming skills

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming experience.
  • JavaScript and HTML programming skills.
  • A keen interest in online/mobile gaming trends.

Process Improvement

  • Help with live mathematical statistic changes with other members of the team.
  • Help Document and standardise our game mathematics to ensure best practices.
  • Look for and convey improvement opportunities in our day-to-day workflows though new or existing processes.
