Hybrid - 3 days a week in the London Office

Uncapped is looking for a Junior Investment Analyst with a keem eye for detail to join our Investment team. This role provides pre‑investment analysis support to our Investment Team by ensuring that the data collected from customers are well structured and standardised to enable effective review. It is a great opportunity for a recent finance or accounting graduate to learn how investment decisions are made in a fast‑moving fintech business with a clear career path into an analyst role.

What You Will Do

• Provide pre‑investment support to the Investment Team – reviewing data provided by customers and ensuring they are complete and meet our minimum requirements.
• Transfer relevant information from financial statements or bank statements into investment models and sense‑check model outcomes.
• Support the integrity & accuracy of data provided by customers – liaising with account executives and customers to ensure information is gathered and fit for purpose.
• Document discussions and key actions coming out of the Credit Committee.
• Develop knowledge of Uncapped’s investment approach to different business segments.
• Participate in ad‑hoc project work to improve our investment capabilities.
• Assist in the preparation of due diligence reports, perform KYC & KYB checks to verify businesses and help track due diligence timelines and deliverables.

Who you are

• Previous internship and work experience with a financial institution is a big plus.
• Finance or accounting background.
• Keen eye for details and the ability to follow processes diligently.
• Numerate with good computer skills and well‑developed spreadsheet skills.
• Can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Team player as well as able to work on your own initiative.
• Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise.
