About the role

If you are graduating in 2025/2026 with a scientific or computer related degree/masters/PhD and you are looking for an exciting career in informatics consultancy, this may be the opportunity for you.

The successful candidate will join our team of consultants where you will be trained in a variety of project settings in multiple industries and with various software solutions. You will shadow our experienced consultants to build knowledge and gain an effective understanding of what it takes to provide insightful, pragmatic and highly valued consultancy services to laboratory-based organizations. You will work on exciting projects for globally recognized industry names giving you the perfect opportunity to kick start your career. You will gain a deep understanding in the multiple disciplines that Scimcon typically work, Project Leadership, Business Analysis, Solutions Architecture and Computer Systems Validation.

Key responsibilities

  • Gaining an understanding of Scimcon’s approach to project implementations
  • Attending and contributing to project meetings
  • Working with Project Leads to develop an understanding of key project stages and deliverables
  • Working with Business Analysts to develop skills needed to analyse workflows and data flows
  • Attending and contributing to requirements gathering workshops
  • Documenting process flow diagrams and system wireframes
  • Conducting system demonstrations to key stakeholders
  • Gaining and understanding of computer systems validation (CSV)
  • Conducting and documenting prioritisation and risk assessment workshops
  • Writing test scripts
  • Writing up deviations
  • Executing system test scripts

  • BSc / Masters/ PhD in a scientific field
  • Understanding of computer programming (any language)
  • Basic understanding of laboratory working practices and workflows
