Job Title: Junior Asset Service Analyst

We are now seeking a motivated and adaptable Junior Asset Service Analyst to join our Asset Services team. The Role

As a Junior Asset Service Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the operational efficiency of our Asset Services Department. You will:

  • Assist with system enhancements to improve processes across the asset servicing group.
  • Ensure operational risk is effectively managed and mitigated through robust controls.
  • Gain knowledge of reconciliation processes, cash management, and client money oversight.
  • Deal with internal and external client queries on asset servicing matters once trained.
  • Review existing processes, eliminating manual steps where possible and driving efficiency.
  • Support ad hoc projects in an evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of client money and cash reconciliations.
  • Producing dividend-related reconciliation reports.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with internal and external clients.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to manual processes.
  • Using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) effectively in daily tasks.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to apply logical thinking to process improvements.
  • Awareness of financial services operations and/or the trade lifecycle.
  • Risk assessment skills with good organisational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and propose practical solutions.
  • Confident in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of dividend processes is desirable but not essential.
  • Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, able to work to deadlines.
