Competitive salary | Generous share option scheme | Hybrid working

SmartFrame Technologies pioneered image-streaming technology, revolutionizing how images are published and monetized online. Today, we work with some of the world’s most prestigious sports organizations and media companies, alongside a global network of publishers and tech partners, to drive widespread adoption.

The company comprises passionate individuals dedicated to upholding the rights of image owners worldwide. Our mission is to change the way the world views, publishes, and monetizes images online – and we need plenty of talented people to help us do it.

We are now looking to bring aboard a Junior Picture Editor, preferably one with a background in news and/or sports photo editing. We have large-scale, global ambitions and a strategy to deliver against them, and this role is crucial in making the business a success.

The candidate will be dedicated to identifying the most valuable and commercially viable images each day, organizing them and ensuring they are shared with publishing clients in a timely and operationally efficient manner.

They will also be adept at building and maintaining strong working relationships. We collaborate with third parties that supply photography services, and this role will assist in liaising closely with these teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working on or with picture desks and publishing platforms and should have a background in photography. They will be proficient in transferring images to customers or receiving them from photographers or photo agencies, and will be comfortable using FTP and other image-transfer methods.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across London, New York, Berlin, and Kraków, the successful candidate will work closely with the Picture Editor and management to improve the business’s publishing inventory and customer footprint.

  • Excellent sports knowledge, together with a desire to learn more
  • A deadline-driven mindset, focused on working as efficiently as possible
  • Excellent visual skills and attention to detail
  • A commercial eye for great photography, together with the ability to organize and edit images to maximize their chances of being selected for publishing
