Purpose of Position
The UK Technology Partner Consultant will become the acting local expert on all Technology Partners and the Technology Partnerships offering at Awin. Your primary purpose is to strategically drive growth for Awin within this partner segment through direct client relationships and supporting Client Services to scale growth potential for UK Technology Partnerships. The UK Technology Partner Consultant will support Global Strategic Partnerships, feeding in local nuances and experience.
The role sits within the new UK & BNL Partnerships Development Hub and will shape departmental processes within the team and cross-department across the wider business. It will also support the wider HUB function, driving local GP projects and initiatives, and require close collaboration with the BNL Technology Partner and Brand Partnerships Consultant roles.
Location requirement
Based on the nature of this position, we require someone in this role to work from our London-based office once per week and attend ad hoc UK-based events throughout the year.
Key responsibilities
- Increase local level GP from Technology Partnerships.
- Lead and communicate the Awin Technology Partner strategy at a local level, harmonise regional and global technology sales approaches, and actively share feedback.
- Plan and deliver effective project working relationships with Global Strategic Partnerships team.
- Build strong relationships directly with Technology Partners, understand their USPs and ensure their needs and concerns are identified and met.
- Build and maintain new brand-side relationships to activate more UK partnerships with Technology Partners.
- Focus on upsell that drives Awin GP, and measure GP success from all customer interactions.
- Collaborate with Client Services to create cross-departmental processes to align on client target lists, consultative selling strategies, and training where required.
- Facilitate internal and external roundtables, workshops, and networking events with colleagues and clients.
- Showcase Awin Technology Partnership opportunities and success through content writing and public speaking.
Skills and expertise
- 2-3 years industry experience.
- Strong understanding of Awin’s technology partner portfolio, and Awin MasterTag setup.
- Highly organized and self-sufficient, able to take ownership of tasks and deliver results.
- Good office presence and willingness to attend industry events.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence decision makers.
- Proven success in pitching growth opportunities to brands.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for creating content, case studies, and presenting at industry events.
- Ability to lead internal and external discussion groups and drive growth projects.
