We’re now looking for an experienced, commercially-savvy Key Account Manager to join us on a fixed-term basis, ensuring continuity, growth, and momentum while one of our team takes parental leave.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact, relationship-led role with real autonomy—helping shape the professional channel during a pivotal time in our journey.
Who are we?
We are Scrummi, the environmentally minded suppliers of luxury, sustainable, disposable textiles to the professional hair and beauty markets and a certified B Corp company. We help businesses reduce their environmental impact through laundry reduction. Our growing and wide range of customers spans smaller high street salons right through to multinational global brands either directly or via distribution partners, not just in the UK but increasingly globally.
The role and core objectives:
- You will own the Commercial Plan, delivering revenue and margin goals across our categories, bringing a structured, customer-first approach to every account.
- Be the Face of Scrummi, as the lead point of contact for key professional clients—maintaining strong, trusted relationships and ensuring seamless service.
- Drive growth in identifying new opportunities to expand our presence across salon and spa partners in the UK & Ireland.
- Support our Marketing & Strategy, spotting trends & Insights, all whilst working cross functionally, and leading with purpose to maintain our brand integrity and maintaining our reputation for high standards.
That is just a flavour for openers then - the variety of work involved, and interest you will find in that variety is at the core of this role.
What are we looking for in you?
- A deep understanding of the professional beauty, spa, or haircare sector, with solid B2B Account Management experience.
- Strong commercial acumen, ideally with exposure to major accounts (e.g. Boots, Superdrug, salon chains, or distributors).
- A consultative approach—able to balance commercial targets with customer care and long-term thinking.
- A proven ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and maintain high-touch relationships over time, together with a highly organised work ethic and a natural flair for territory planning, forecasting and data-led selling.
- Above all, positive, proactive and self-driven—able to step into a fast-paced role with confidence and clarity.
NB. Please note that our ideal working pattern would be hybrid (3 days/week in our West Malling Head Office ) when not travelling or visiting customers.
