The Key Account Manager (KAM) will drive tesa solutions for the Printing & Packaging market across North America (U.S., Canada, and Mexico), with a focus on the East Coast. This role involves developing and executing business and category strategies to grow key accounts and strategic channel partnerships. The KAM will engage directly with corporate decision-makers and influencers while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure success. Coordination with channel partners, sales specialists, and national sales leadership is essential to maximize growth opportunities.
What you will do:
- Meet or exceed all sales objectives and goals for assigned key accounts.
- Coordinate efforts related to strategic accounts, focusing on sales development, contracts/pricing, tesa share of account business, customer satisfaction, quality, and service.
- Understand and communicate strategic account requirements throughout the organization, translating them into business opportunities.
- Foster collaboration within the Printing & Packaging Solutions team and with key stakeholders, including channel partners, to solve customer problems and deliver innovative solutions.
- Develop, execute, and maintain key account plans.
- Maintain customer data accurately in the tesa global CRM system and meet KPI’s for CRM activity.
- Collaborate internationally as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
- Minimum 4 years of combined experience in industrial sales and/or marketing in the print industry, specifically Flexo.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence complex organizational structures.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to navigate complex negotiations and develop contracts/supply agreements.
- Valid driver’s license, passport, and physical ability to drive for extended periods.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Flexibility to adapt work schedule to meet customer needs, with up to 50% travel by air or auto.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
