A leading global law firm is seeking a Knowledge Development Lawyer to support its Construction Disputes Practice Group, with a focus on contentious construction matters. This is a permanent role based nationally across the firm's offices.

Description

This strategic knowledge role supports a high-performing construction disputes team, contributing to legal excellence, training, and global collaboration. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering internal training programmes, trainee sessions and training days.
  • Managing precedent documents, case law updates, and internal knowledge platforms.
  • Supporting client training, thought leadership, and external engagement.
  • Collaborating with international teams on global construction initiatives.
  • Liaising with barristers, experts, and external bodies for training and development.
  • Contributing to newsletters, articles, and global conferences.
  • Engaging with legal tech and innovation teams to enhance dispute resolution processes.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales.
  • Extensive experience in contentious construction disputes, ideally including arbitration.
  • Strong drafting, research, and communication skills.
  • Experience in developing knowledge resources and delivering training.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and ability to manage projects independently.
  • Interest in legal tech and innovation.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary range of £100,000 - £150,000 depending on experience and location.
