Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Lead Advisor, Europe Partnerships through September 24th 2025 at 11:59 p.m. This role is with Corporate Affairs, which proactively manages social, political, and reputational risks and strengthens Chevron's strategic advocacy, communications, and social investments to build confidence in the company and industry.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with stakeholders to help shape policy in support of business objectives in Europe.
  • Track, assess and provide analysis on key trends.
  • Identify and analyze potential business implications and opportunities, advocacy positions, messaging and proactive strategies on priority lower carbon and policy issues in Europe.
  • Influence strategy and communications approach based on data and analysis from interactions with the lower carbon community.
  • Support ESG-related investor engagements in Europe.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, finance, sustainability or related field.
  • Proven expertise in European government, political, socio-economic, historical, trade, sanctions, and related issues and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to form and develop strategic relationships with external partners and key stakeholders and represent the company in external engagements.
  • Demonstrated written, verbal, analytical, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a complex portfolio, deadlines, schedules, and executive visits.
  • Advanced expertise in issue management, advocacy, campaigns, and association management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple stakeholders and high-profile assignments with outstanding results.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and networks, align resources and collaborate across teams to deliver excellent results the right way.
