Job Description
We are seeking a senior-level Embedded Software Engineer with deep expertise in AUTOSAR architecture, ASPICE-compliant processes, and model-based development to drive high-performance software for next-generation powertrain control systems.
In this role, you’ll lead technical activities across the full V-model lifecycle, owning software delivery and validation from concept to vehicle integration. You’ll collaborate closely with hardware, systems, calibration, and test teams in a highly dynamic, hybrid working environment.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Design, implement, and integrate AUTOSAR-compliant embedded software for powertrain control systems.
- Lead technical software development efforts, providing guidance across software architecture, implementation, and integration phases.
- Conduct rigorous validation testing using MIL, SIL, and HIL environments, including hands-on debugging and rig-based evaluation.
- Support model-based development workflows using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
- Ensure alignment with ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards for software quality and functional safety.
- Act as a key interface between software, systems, calibration, and validation teams, ensuring technical coherence and traceability across project phases.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
- Extensive industry experience in embedded software development for automotive or safety-critical systems.
- Deep understanding and proven implementation of AUTOSAR architecture (Classic or Adaptive).
- Proficient in model-based design and control algorithm development using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.
- Hands-on experience with CAN, LIN, and associated vehicle communication protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate software activities within structured V-cycle or Agile environments.
- Solid understanding of ASPICE process models and ISO 26262 safety standards.
- Comfortable working onsite as needed to support rig and vehicle-level integration and testing.
