On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Lead Business Functional Analyst for a 6 month contract based in the bank’s London office on a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home.

Lead Business Functional Analyst is responsible for leading the analysis, design and delivery of technology solutions within the Anti Financial Crime (AFC) domain. DB Technology is a global team of tech specialists, spread across multiple hubs and tech centres. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders to drive development of the solution, manage dependencies across teams and value streams, and to help align teams against a common vision
- Ongoing management and analysis of the product in the marketplace, definition and development of future releases and manage the business case for change initiatives.
- Conduct detailed data analysis to support decision-making, validate requirements, troubleshoot issues, and define minimal viable products (MVP)
- Write and maintain high-quality Epics, Features and User Stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria including facilitating and contributing to backlog grooming, sprint planning and other ceremonies
- Data analysis and Reference data Mapping: Perform data profiling and mapping across applications
- Run and participate in agile ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in technical and functional analysis roles preferably in AFC or Financial services or Banking with excellent knowledge of reference data payment, party, and account
- Solid experience on technology concepts- data flows, APIs, data models, and software development lifecycle with experience on multi-tier platforms and the challenges presented
- Excellent experience in data analysis, product backlog management, knowledge of cloud-based platforms and hybrid technology environments
- Demonstrated ability to drive work independently in a fast-paced environment and lead junior member of team
- Working proficiency on tools like Jira, Confluence, SQL, Big-query or similar with good knowledge of data governance, data quality, and master/reference data management platforms
