Lead Cloud Platform Engineer – Northampton, HQ (hybrid)

WRK digital are delighted to be shortlisting for a Lead Cloud Platform Manager with the ability to lead a team of cloud engineers and who has a breadth of experience with Cloud Technologies and Cloud Platforms.

You’ll be working closely with and supporting the architectural and commercial functions, as well as the wider IT infrastructure teams. If you can solve complex technical, managerial and operational problems this could be for you!

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of cloud engineers who are accountable for Cloud Platforms, their foundational capabilities, and the framework to support the deployment of services
• Improving the Cloud (Azure, AWS) landscape consistency and efficiency through automation
• Leading technical projects, engaging with commercial and architectural functions, and supporting wider IT infrastructure teams

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience leading a technical team.
• Experience within the Cloud Technologies and Platforms, including but not limited to:
• Azure Active Directory (Identity Management, Service Principles, Security Groups, Role Management, MFA)
• Key Vault
• Cloud Security and Connectivity (vNet, DNS, Firewalls, Express Route / Direct Connect, VPN, GTM, NSG)
• Subscription Management (Resource Groups, cost management)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Ansible)
• With a breadth of Cloud and Azure technologies, with good commercial awareness and business acumen.
