Overview

Lead Control Systems Integration Engineer (Remote or Hybrid opportunity) at Adsyst (Automation) Limited. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a new Adsyst team and expand our operations. The role involves delivering projects through the full lifecycle, including design, surveys, software programming, configuration, testing and commissioning, with a focus on technical compliance and quality.

The position offers either a fully remote arrangement or a hybrid option with occasional work from one of our other offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of control system projects, ensuring technical compliance and quality.
• Attend client meetings to discuss design, surveys, software programming, configuration, testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers to develop and succeed in your career.

What we are looking for

• Experience designing control system PLC and HMI/SCADA software and making amendments or upgrades to existing system software.
• Experience in producing project documentation.
• Competence in programming PLCs such as Siemens, Rockwell, or Mitsubishi, and/or competence in programming SCADA systems like Siemens, Rockwell or Wonderware HMI/SCADA platforms.
• UK site commissioning experience (which may involve short periods away from home).

What we require from you

• Previous control system experience (5+ years).
• Ability to motivate and manage a team of engineers to improve performance.
• Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications.
• Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens or Mitsubishi PLCs or SCADA systems like Wonderware, Iconics, Schneider or other platforms.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Clean UK Driving License.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
