The Data Insights Team plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation. We deliver high-impact analytics, build scalable data products, and foster a culture of insight-led thinking.

About The Role

As a Lead Analyst, you’ll lead complex analytical projects, mentor junior team members, and act as a trusted partner to stakeholders. This role blends hands-on technical delivery with leadership and team enablement, helping embed a data-driven culture and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of complex analytics projects, ensuring outputs are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Build and optimise Power BI dashboards and data models using advanced DAX, SQL, and/or Python.
  • Translate data into actionable insights through compelling narratives and visualisations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape technical solutions and communicate outcomes clearly.
  • Ensure analytics outputs meet governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
  • Promote reusable data assets and support documentation of data definitions.
  • Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Champion best practices and explore emerging technologies like AI to enhance insight generation.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong proficiency in DAX, SQL and/or Python.
  • Experience developing and optimising Power BI dashboards and data models.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and modelling principles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and cloud-based data platforms (desirable).
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and drive continuous improvement.
