🌟 Team Lead, Data Science – Biomedical AI 📍 London (Hybrid, 4 days on-site) 💰 Competitive senior package (up to £150k) + Equity 🎓 Shape the future of biomedical discovery with AI The Opportunity We’re looking for a data science leader with a strong scientific or technical background (e.g. computer science, physics, maths, bioinformatics, biotechnology) to lead a high-performing team at the intersection of AI and biomedical research. This is a rare chance to set strategic direction, guide cutting-edge ML development on complex time-series and biomedical data, and drive scientific and commercial impact in a mission-driven, fast-growing environment. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and world-class scientists, ensuring data science is embedded at the heart of the company’s innovation. What You’ll Do
Define and deliver the company’s data science strategy, bridging scientific rigour with real-world application Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of data scientists & ML engineers Build scalable pipelines and deploy advanced ML models in production Champion best practices in reproducibility, validation, and scientific integrity Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and external partners to unlock new opportunities in biomedical AI Represent the company at conferences, workshops, and strategic forums
What We’re Looking For
Strong academic background (STEM, bioinformatics, computational biology, or related) Deep experience in data science/ML, ideally with biomedical, biotech, or healthcare applications Proven leadership experience — mentoring teams, driving strategy, delivering production-level models Ability to balance scientific depth with commercial impact
