Lead Developer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Lead Developer with strong technical leadership and hands-on expertise in software engineering.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
Delivery Leadership: Partner with project and functional leads to align engineering deliverables with business priorities, ensuring on-time and high-quality outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, embedding user needs and feedback into solution design and delivery.
Technical Direction: Define and lead the technical vision for applications, promoting modern practices, scalable architectures, and continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Integration: Coordinate dependencies with other teams, Lead Developers, and Architects to deliver cohesive and future-proof solutions.
Engineering Excellence: Ensure architectural consistency and code quality through collaboration with the Architecture team, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor team members, support career growth, and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and resolve technical debt, drive innovation, and contribute to evolving engineering standards and patterns.
Technology Roadmaps: Co-create and implement technology roadmaps aligned with departmental strategy and architecture.
Software Delivery: Deliver robust, test-driven, object-oriented software solutions using modern methodologies and tools.
Team Empowerment: Inspire and motivate the team, setting clear, aligned goals and fostering accountability, learning, and growth.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
Qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Professional certifications are an advantage
Proven experience leading development teams, mentoring engineers, and driving high-quality software delivery
Strong knowledge of.NET (C#), SQL Server, SSIS/SSAS, T-SQL, and modern web frameworks (React/Angular/TypeScript)
Experience with data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake), CI/CD, and DevOps practices
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
Collaborative mindset with a track record of building trust and driving results in dynamic environments
Domain knowledge in commodities trading is a plus
