Principal / Lead Electrical Engineer (Contract – Outside IR35)

JAB Recruitment is currently sourcing for a Principal / Lead Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client who is delivering a large-scale engineering programme. This role is based in Woking, London, on a hybrid basis and is offered on a contract outside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical engineering services that meet customer and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
• Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports, comply with checking procedures.
• Provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Act as electrical engineering Lead on specific projects.
• Prepare specifications, data sheets and requisitions.
• Develop relay settings and coordination studies.
• Load list and equipment sizing.
• Design motor protection and control schematics/wiring diagrams.
• Provide BOMs and major equipment costs.
• Establish scope of work and deliverable lists.
• Attend project and vendor review meetings.
