What You Will Do
- Lead the events strategy for our business and retail segments annually aligned with business priorities
- Lead planning and execution of flagship events, sponsorship and industry expos and event execution
- Manage end-to-end event logistics, including budget management, project management, timelines, and agency/supplier relationships
- Collaborate cross-functionally with lead marketing managers (for omni-channel campaigns), sales team, internal and external communications team and leadership teams
- Develop and own post-event performance reports, including return on investment measurement frameworks
- Oversee the event branding and creative delivery for events with the Brand Manager and in-house creative studio team
- Manage key supplier relationships and maintain Metro Bank’s storage and distribution of stock across the business
- Develop scalable toolkits and guidelines for decentralised events (e.g. instore events)
- Ensure all events reflect our brand tone, values, and visual identity
- Any other duties as required that reasonably fall within the role.

What You Will Need
- Strong strategic event planning skills
- Strong project management, supplier negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Good commercial acumen with an ability to align events to business targets, measuring ROI
- Excellent communication skills, effective at collaborating with all levels of seniority across multiple channels
- Strong creativity, able to develop ideas and turn them into reality
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise workload effectively to remain calm in a demanding environment
- Highly efficient, effective and solution driven producing a consistently high standard of work
- Excellent use of initiative with a proven ability to work well independently
- Extensive and proven knowledge in senior events management in B2C/B2B sectors with a growth agenda
- Knowledge of brand marketing and campaign integration
- Good knowledge and experience working with agencies and other relevant external stakeholders and suppliers
- Thorough understanding of (Metro Bank’s) brand positioning and how events can support
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) in a business environment
