Position Summary
As the Lead HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for delivering the people agenda for Nespresso UK&I. Your primary responsibility will be to provide strategic HR leadership and support across various business units, ensuring that our people strategies drive performance and cultivate a culture of excellence.
A day in the life of a Lead HR Business Partner…
This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with managers at all levels as an instrumental Business Partner from day one. You will provide HR support and coaching to deliver best-in-class people experience and will be part of the Nespresso People Leadership Team.
You will be responsible for:
- Implementing the timely execution of the People strategy across Nespresso’s B2C Commercial division and other key areas such as Finance and IT.
- Leading a small team of HR professionals, including Regional HRBPs in the delivery of the People agenda and experience across the business.
- Building strong, trusting relationships across our network while empowering managers through effective coaching to deliver exceptional service.
- Provide guidance and input to people managers and the HRBPs on individual employee relations issues, ensuring timely and appropriate resolutions.
- Developing line managers and individuals to enhance their understanding of our performance and development activities, ensuring core processes are embedded and delivered effectively.
- Cultivating capability across Nespresso, ensuring a solid understanding of our HR model.
- Owning the people metrics within Nespresso and leveraging data and insights alongside industry trends to proactively address emerging issues and opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our HR practices and processes.
You will work closely with a centralised employee services team and centre of excellence, making liaison with central HR employees a key aspect of your role. What will make you successful?
Your career thus far will showcase a proven track record in operational HR as an experienced HR Business Partner or People Partner demonstrating your ability to function as a true business partner. Your capacity to deliver tangible outcomes that positively impact our Nespresso network is crucial. You will also have people management experience and be able to demonstrate strong people leadership. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have:
- Solid experience managing employee relations in a fast‑paced setting.
- Background in a large‑scale business environment, with the ability to translate broader HR strategies and policies into actionable initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trust at all levels.
- Previous experience in an HR role with a proven track record of delivering impactful outcomes, or a relevant HR qualification.
- Experience working to deadlines that involve contributions from multiple stakeholders within a project.
- A keen eye for detail and an understanding of how your decisions affect the wider business.
Most importantly, you will recognise the importance of adapting your style when prioritising work in an often ambiguous and high‑pressure environment.
