Overview Our client specialises in bespoke software, cyber security, cloud computing, and lifecycle management solutions, supporting clients across the full system lifecycle. What you will do

Develop and maintain a suite of mission‑critical applications, primarily using Oracle APEX, within a fast‑moving environment. Provide 3rd‑line support for mission‑critical applications. Promote modern development practices and drive team improvements with the Service Owner and CIO. Mentor technical staff. Advise client leads on multi‑year migration plans from Oracle to AWS.

Requirements

Active Enhanced DV Clearance (West). Willing to work full‑time on site in Cheltenham when required. Experience in Oracle APEX, APIs, Red Hat, GitLab, and/or AWS. Strong PL/SQL skills; knowledge of ORDS; ability to work with Oracle 19c. Experience with infrastructure as a service, especially Red Hat (8/9) and Amazon Linux (2/2023). Familiarity with Atlassian Bitbucket/JIRA and GitLab.
