Java & Kotlin Consultant at Understanding Recruitment. They are looking for an experienced Java Developer to fulfil a hands-on Lead role leading the next generation of Java Developers.

Location: London office 3 days a week. Salary: up to £140k + bonus (25-50%).

Responsibilities

• Lead Java Developers with hands-on technical involvement
• Multithreading, concurrency, low latency
• Work in the financial sector e.g. FX, trading
• Build microservices in the cloud (GCP, AWS) with Kubernetes
• Product-led development – architecting, building and delivering
• Technical leadership: architectural decisions, mentoring, code reviews, pairing
