Due to a recent merger, my client who is one of the UK’s leading financial services company is looking for a Lead PMO Planner to join their Delivery Management Office. In this role, you will own and lead the integration programme planning and dependency management frameworks. To be successful in this role, you will need mergers and acquisitions experience in a lead PMO capacity. Due to the size of the project, there is a high chance, the contract will be extended or moved into a permanent role.
Main responsibilities
- Drive the development of plans and the broader 2 year integration roadmap
- Create and maintain the master programme schedule – defining key milestones, activities, dependencies and critical path.
- From a planning perspective: identify, assess and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact integration
- Support the Integration Director and the Integration Management Office to regularly report on programme progress, risks and issues
- Act as the key point of contact to provide progress updates on the Integration Programmes Regulatory Actions
Requirements
- Strong PMO planning experience
- Strong mergers and acquisitions experience, along with integrations experience
- Strong leadership experience – experience leading/managing a team
- Experience working on a multi-million pound portfolio
- Programme management skills including managing risk dependencies, issues and assumptions, planning and co-ordination, and setting/facilitating up workshops
- Financial services industry experience
- Salary up to £95,000 + up to 20% bonus
- Hybrid working: 2 to 3 days a week in the office
- 28 days holiday plus bank holidays (option to buy and sell)
