Our client, a prominent player in the Defence sector, is looking for a Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional - Controls to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be part of the Submarine Solutions division, contributing to critical national defence projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Management
• Leading the planning, monitoring, and control processes for submarine projects
• Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and resource plans
• Monitoring project progress and performance to identify potential issues
• Implementing effective control measures to ensure project objectives are met
• Providing accurate and timely project reports to stakeholders
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the project management framework

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role within the Defence sector
• Financial background and SAP experience
• Strong knowledge of project planning, monitoring, and control methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a hybrid work environment, including on-site presence as required
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Detail-oriented with a strong organisational aptitude
• Relevant qualifications in project management or a related discipline
• 6-month contract
• Hybrid working arrangement - 2 days on-site every 2 weeks
