The role

As a Lead Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Your responsibilities include managing multiple projects and being accountable for performance and results achieved through multiple managers, senior grade professional associates, and technical specialists.

Day-to-day, you’ll build an integrated project delivery team that works together to define, plan, monitor, and control the successful delivery of projects.

• Managing customer and stakeholder interfaces
• Leading project performance
• Establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the project
• Planning and monitoring the project

This role is full time, 36 hours per week (Monday to Thursday), with predominantly on-site work and opportunities for hybrid arrangements.

Essential experience of the Lead Project Manager

• Project management and risk management techniques
• Business processes (HR, finance, commercial)
• Procurement processes
• Process improvement techniques
• Leadership
• Business applications

Qualifications for the Lead Project Manager

• Professional project qualification such as APM (PMQ) or Prince2
• Working towards or holding a chartered membership of a relevant body (RICS, CIOB, CIBSE, APM, PMI) or extensive tangible experience in a similar role
• Relevant HND level qualification or extensive experience in a similar role
• Level 5 or above Leadership and Management qualification or substantial management and leadership experience
