Lead Project Planner, Nuclear, COR7304

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Lead Project Planner / Project Controls Lead to join a pioneering organisation within the Nuclear industry.

The Role

Joining the Operations team, the Lead Project Planner / Project Controls Lead will line manage a small team of Project Planners, and will work with with internal and external suppliers to establish new schedules to support bid activities and scope changes. Outside of the line management responsibilities, the Lead Project Planner will use P6 to both produce, maintain and develop project schedules and plans, including key project milestones for client deliverables, design materials, sub-contractors etc.

Once projects are live, the Lead Project Planner will ensure the plan is kept up to date with any agreed changes to scope - as directed by the Project Management team, will monitor progress (including sub-contractors) against plans and schedules and will attend project meetings and will present progress reports to the client. The successful Project Planner will need to be eligible for SC Clearance.

The successful Lead Project Planner will work on a hybrid basis, visiting the Warrington office 2 days per week, though travel to other sites may be required on an ad hoc basis.

What's required of the Lead Project Planner / Project Controls Lead?

Commercial experience within a similar Project Planner role

Prior experience working on the production, maintenance and updating of project schedules

Current SC clearance is highly desirable but not essential
