The SRE Team
We count on our site reliability engineers (SREs) to empower users with a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance levels to pursue their goals.
About The Role
This is a hands-on role. Working as part of the Software Engineering team, you will run the SRE function on a day-to-day basis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences. You will report to the Head of Engineering and provide SRE expertise while shaping the future direction of the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead, drive and mature the strategy for the security, performance and scalability of software and services across cloud infrastructure
- Develop and deploy APIs in containerised environments (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Implement and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in an agile environment
- Lead, coach and mentor team members to achieve success
- Work with AWS services, particularly IAM, S3, EKS, and Networking
- Utilise CloudFormation/CDK
- Exposure to serverless computing
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, infrastructure/platform management
- Development and deployment of APIs in containerised environments (Kubernetes)
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform)
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders in an agile setting
- Mentoring and leadership experience within a technical team
- Knowledge of AWS services (IAM, S3, EKS, Networking) and related tooling
- Familiarity with CloudFormation or CDK
- Experience with serverless computing is a plus
