EPAM Systems is expanding its UK practice to deliver high‑impact, AI‑enabled digital solutions across industries such as financial services, healthcare, and retail. With a large footprint across Europe—including delivery centers in the Nordics, Spain, and Lithuania—and a growing UK team, EPAM is rapidly scaling its local UX and design capabilities to lead digital transformation projects in the region.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead UX Designer to drive the design strategy and delivery for EPAM’s UK-based enterprise clients. This role blends hands‑on design work with strategic leadership to expand EPAM's UK UX practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX Strategy: Define and implement user experience strategies for enterprise‑grade digital platforms, aligning with business goals and user needs.
- Design Systems & Prototyping: Build and maintain scalable design systems; rapidly prototype using Figma or Adobe XD.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to align and deliver impactful UX solutions—consistent with EPAM’s cross‑discipline teamwork ethos.
- Governance & Best Practices: Advocate for design standards, usability, and accessibility across all product lines to elevate the overall practice quality.
- Team Leadership: Mentor mid‑level UX designers and onboard new hires to build capacity in EPAM’s UK design practice.
- Client Engagement: Lead client workshops, showcase design thinking methodologies, translate user research into actionable insights, and secure buy‑in for UX investments.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of UX design experience, ideally in B2B or enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Expertise in Figma (or Adobe XD), design systems, wireframing, prototyping, and UX documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to drive UX strategy and scale a design practice or team.
- Strong facilitation skills, comfortable leading workshops and stakeholder presentations.
- Proficiency in creating designs that simplify complexity, especially in technical systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a drive to uplift design maturity in a growing region.
