Overview
Using curriculums and learning outcomes created by our Business Partners, you\'ll build effective and engaging learning experiences. You\'ll create the text copy, media assets and knowledge checks/assessments that form our training programmes. You\'ll develop writing skills, create accessible text copy that underpins independent learning courses, and curate our Learning Management System (LMS) to keep live training accurate by archiving outdated content. You\'ll design training with accessibility, inclusion and relevance in mind so that all learners, including those at global sites, can use every element. You\'ll work to improve your skills in our software platforms and technologies and share what you\'ve learned with other training designers to build a community of practice. You\'ll contribute to discussions on Learning/Performance strategy, spotting opportunities and trends in training design (e.g., AI developments, software capabilities or new tools) that we could adopt.
Responsibilities
- Design and build learning experiences for COps, using instructional design standards to align with brand design, functionality and learner experience.
- Create text copy, media assets and knowledge checks/assessments that form training programmes.
- Develop accessible, engaging, and relevant training materials that work for a diverse, global audience.
- Curate and maintain the LMS by replacing outdated content and ensuring live training courses remain accurate.
- Collaborate with Business Partners, Ops leads and COps to gather requirements and drive performance through training design.
- Share learnings with colleagues, contribute to the Learning/Performance strategy, and explore opportunities/trends (e.g., AI, new tools).
- Proactively maintain, update, verify/review and archive courses and programmes in the LMS.
Qualifications & Skills
- Understanding of Instructional Design Principles and adult learning theory.
- Strong learning experience mindset; ability to design functionality and accessibility that work together to create engaging learning experiences.
- Experience with relationship management and working with multiple stakeholders.
- Motivation to learn and develop a broad range of skills (writing, project management, user/learning experience curation, risk management, design, media, software and AI usage).
- Proactive in maintaining and archiving training content in an LMS.
- Ability to use best design apps and adhere to instructional design standards.

Role Details
Location: UK Remote
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 dependent on experience + Benefits
Contract: Initial 12-month fixed term contract (with potential to convert to permanent)
