Learning Assistants work collaboratively as a member of the school team or specialist educational service under the supervision of the Head Teacher or designated manager. Their role is to promote effective learning, teaching, personal development, health, and well-being, creating an atmosphere of achievement.

They provide support to teachers to facilitate the effective and efficient use of resources, aiming to raise attainment in the classroom. Learning Assistants contribute to raising achievement and assist in the supervision, safety, and care of pupils, including those with additional support needs arising from behavioral, learning, sensory, physical impairments, or family circumstances.

Learning Assistants work with pupils individually or in groups across various settings, requiring flexibility depending on the school's needs.
