Our firm and the Learning & Development Team
As a firm, we are committed to offering development opportunities that enable our people to deliver excellence to our clients and fulfill their potential. We offer exciting training programmes and other career development support to enhance skills and expertise, and this is where our team comes in.
We design and deliver high-quality virtual and in-person programmes for our lawyers, Private Wealth specialists, Business Support professionals, and the Executive Services Team. Our goal is to create an environment where our people feel confident in their roles and have a rewarding career with us. We lead on a wide range of personal skills, business skills, and career development initiatives, as well as the overall L&D strategy and organizational change projects.
The role
You will be at the heart of our team, handling all training-related administration. This includes liaising with internal delegates and external training providers, ensuring information and pre-reading materials are circulated in advance, and managing last-minute changes calmly and efficiently.
You will work with various systems and spreadsheets to capture, analyze, and distribute L&D information, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting. You will also have the opportunity to develop these systems to improve their effectiveness.
This role involves significant diary management and planning, so you need to stay updated on all training programmes and support our lead trainers to ensure smooth training event operations. Additionally, you will play a key role in our career development processes.
What are we looking for?
We seek someone with exceptional organizational skills. Attention to detail is crucial as you will manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous experience in a busy administrative role is preferred, but we are open to diverse backgrounds.
You should be an excellent communicator with a professional and confident style, comfortable in both written and verbal interactions across all levels within the firm.
Since much of your role involves liaising with colleagues and external providers, relationship-building skills are essential. We value a friendly and supportive team environment, and it’s important that you share these values.
To succeed in this role, at minimum, you will need:
- One year's experience in an admin or PA role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience managing multiple deadlines and priorities
- Effective planning and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence in building professional relationships quickly
Our team practices hybrid working to promote flexibility. We seek someone comfortable with this approach and willing to work in our Bristol Office at least 3 days per week.
