Job Description

Overview:

The Learning & Development Lead collaborates with the Head of Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD), the L&OD team, and HR colleagues to implement the People Strategy and ensure operational excellence in managing the delivery of the L&D portfolio, policies, and processes.

Role Description:

As a valued professional who understands the client organization and the challenges faced by its teams, the Learning & Development Lead advances the reputation and impact of L&OD as a center of expertise. This role supports the ongoing development and enhancement of the skills, knowledge, behaviors, and effectiveness of the workforce. The Lead works collaboratively with stakeholders, including senior leaders, to deliver, maintain, and continuously improve development programs and interventions that align with the organizational values and strategy, ensuring employees are equipped to deliver on the mission. This inspirational leader and specialist in organizational and workforce learning manages the team to scope, develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality interventions that reflect best practices, incorporating current thinking and approaches.

Working Model:

The client operates a 50% onsite hybrid working model, allowing office-based staff to split their time between onsite and home working. This model balances the benefits of home working with onsite collaboration and maintaining a connection to the organisation's cause.
