LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT TRAINER

Our Cardiff Academy Team is looking to employ a Learning & Development Trainer who will hybrid work, with a work base location at County Hall, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff, CF10 4UW, whilst also being home based for a proportion of their time. This is a temporary post covering maternity leave, for a period of 15 months.

Our Cardiff Academy is part of our Human Resources Service, providing training opportunities for Council employees. The successful applicant will work as part of a team to deliver this first-class service.

About the job

You will deliver a broad range of courses, for example, First Aid, Corporate Induction, Application and Interview Techniques, and Recruitment & Selection Panel Training.

There is currently a strong focus of this role being on First Aid delivery, however as the team develops and other priorities for training evolve, the role may focus less on First Aid and more on delivery of other courses, as previously mentioned. You will receive training to be able to deliver all courses effectively.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will work closely with colleagues within the Academy to ensure training reflects the needs for each department and the content accurately reflects organisational requirements. Commencement of role will be August, 2025.
