Job Purpose: Support the management of a caseload of Fast Track/MOJ Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims involving motorbikes, mopeds, push bikes, and e-scooters. Work under supervision, contribute to case progression, and aid in litigation processes to generate fee income and support overall business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing a caseload of MOJ (Part 8) and Part 7 claims, delivering high-quality claims handling focused on client outcomes.
  • Support assessment of liability and quantum: review medical reports, apply relevant case law, draft schedules of special damages, and evaluate compensation awards.
  • Adopt a commercial approach to settlements, provide client advice on litigation and cost risks, and contribute to performance targets such as profit costs, case issuance, and settlements.
  • Liaise effectively with medical agencies, experts, third-party insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient case progress. Attend court hearings when required and assist in instructing Barristers for formal advice on quantum and liability.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned in a relevant and reasonable manner by the business.

  • Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality service to both clients and the firm.
