Overview

Base pay range: Commercial lawyer in EMEA covering all aspects of EMEA Legal work such as commercial, academic network, HR, compliance & Co Sec. The role supports a pivotal leader in electronic design, applying an Intelligent System Design strategy to deliver software, hardware and IP that turn design concepts into reality. Customers include the world\'s most innovative companies across consumer, hyperscale computing, 5G, automotive, aerospace, industrial and health sectors.

Description

  • Provide Legal support to Sales teams to enable licensing, services and other commercial contracts, including negotiations with customers and their legal advisors.
  • Collaborate with and coordinate with Legal, Sales, HR, Procurement and Marketing teams, and manage outside counsel to drive desired outcomes.
  • Assist in handling disputes, litigation, and questions relating to intellectual property and IT ownership.
  • Partner with and manage obligations to distributors and other ecosystem partners.
  • Manage employee processes to ensure compliance with the code of business conduct and related policies; provide training to staff on best practices in compliance matters.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and globally to anticipate and assess emerging legal risk areas, resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare reports for executive management, board and board committees regarding contract escalations and the operation and status of compliance programs.
  • Handle other legal matters as needed to support the EMEA business outcomes.

Profile

A successful Legal Counsel EMEA should have:

  • A qualified solicitor or barrister with strong commercial law understanding.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with EMEA regional laws and regulations is advantageous.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary ranging from £66,000 to £85,000, depending on experience.
